Why we built Tire Trader
A tire marketplace for people who actually live and drive in South Florida.
Tire Trader started with a familiar annoyance: needing a couple of tires in a hurry and getting quoted dealer money for rubber that was sitting brand new in a warehouse a few towns over.
Meanwhile, shops around Broward have good takeoff sets piling up every week, and plenty of drivers try to sell barely-used tires online only to get lowballed by out-of-town flippers. There was an obvious gap in the middle, so we built for it.
Tire Trader is a marketplace just for tires, run for the people who buy and sell them here. List a set, find a set, and meet up in your own city. No national listing dump, no shipping a 40-pound tire across the country, and nobody taking a cut in between.
